Medical Coder, Springville NY
Full Time. Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm. No weekends, No holidays.
As key member of our team our Coder will:
- Code outpatient cases utilizing current coding classifications and systems
- Abstract information into hospital’s computer and billing systems
- Group codes to correct Diagnosis Related Groups (DRG) and Ambulatory Payment Classification (APC) ensuring accurate reimbursement.
Coder Requirements:
- HS diploma or GED
- 2 – 3 years of outpatient medical coding utilizing current coding classifications and systems
- Strong computer skills including MSOffice Suite
- Certified Coder Specialist (CCS) strongly preferred
- COVID19 Vaccination is required

Compensation is based on experience. Starting at $19.11 per hour.
