Position: Music Teacher – grades 5-12

Berkshire Hills Regional School District is looking for an exceptional teacher to fill an opening for next school year (2022-2023). Approaches challenges and change with a positive outlook focused on finding solutions and solving problems!

Requirements/Qualifications: Massachusetts Teaching Certificate in area of assignment preferred. College degree in the general area to which the teacher is assigned. Strong instrumental proficiency. Interest in continuing to build strong band ensembles for elementary school through high School. Demonstrated knowledge of, concern for, and success in work with students of varying needs, talents and abilities. Demonstrated success in communicating effectively and constructively with students, colleagues, and parents in the development and delivery of child centered instruction. Demonstrated success in developing engaging instruction aligned with the Massachusetts Frameworks and standards in designated area of instruction. Demonstrated success in working in teams. Other qualifications as establish by the District.

Starting Date: August 25, 2022

Salary: As Per BHRSD / BHEA Unit A Contract
