- Participate in requirements analysis
- Collaborate with internal teams to produce software design and architecture
- Write clean, scalable code using full-stack technologies centered on .NET
- Test and deploy applications and systems
- Revise, update, refactor and debug code
- Participate in peer-reviewed coding with other developers
- Improve existing software
- Develop documentation throughout the software development life cycle
- Research and adopt emerging technologies and best practices
- Serve as an expert on applications and provide technical support
Required Education:
BS/BA in Computer Science/Engineering or 3+ years of software development work experience.
- Proven experience as a .NET Developer
- Experience using source control systems, preferably Git
- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
- Understanding of Agile methodologies
- Strong familiarity with the .NET Framework/.NET Core ecosystem, including ASP.NET and Entity Framework (EF/EF Core)
- Demonstrable understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and architectural patterns.
- Demonstrable understanding of LINQ and functional programming techniques
- Ability to implement and leverage reusable code libraries
- Fluency in C#, JavaScript, and at least one variant of SQL (T-SQL, PL/SQL, etc.)
- Familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks (Angular, React, Vue)
- Ability to leverage the HTML5 stack to create engaging user experiences
- Proficiency in implementing and consuming RESTful web services
- Familiarity with web security practices, including common mechanisms of authentication, authorization, and encryption.
- Basic understanding of DevOps deployment methodologies, including containerization
