Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Participate in requirements analysis
  • Collaborate with internal teams to produce software design and architecture
  • Write clean, scalable code using full-stack technologies centered on .NET
  • Test and deploy applications and systems
  • Revise, update, refactor and debug code
  • Participate in peer-reviewed coding with other developers
  • Improve existing software
  • Develop documentation throughout the software development life cycle
  • Research and adopt emerging technologies and best practices
  • Serve as an expert on applications and provide technical support

Required Education:
BS/BA in Computer Science/Engineering or 3+ years of software development work experience.

Required Experience :
  • Proven experience as a .NET Developer
  • Experience using source control systems, preferably Git
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies
  • Strong familiarity with the .NET Framework/.NET Core ecosystem, including ASP.NET and Entity Framework (EF/EF Core)
  • Demonstrable understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and architectural patterns.
  • Demonstrable understanding of LINQ and functional programming techniques
  • Ability to implement and leverage reusable code libraries
  • Fluency in C#, JavaScript, and at least one variant of SQL (T-SQL, PL/SQL, etc.)
  • Familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks (Angular, React, Vue)
  • Ability to leverage the HTML5 stack to create engaging user experiences
  • Proficiency in implementing and consuming RESTful web services
  • Familiarity with web security practices, including common mechanisms of authentication, authorization, and encryption.
  • Basic understanding of DevOps deployment methodologies, including containerization
