Network Modeling Task Lead, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD

VTS Group, LLC is a Service-Disabled Veteran and SBA 8(a) Certified Small Disadvantage Business owned technology solutions provider. We provide enterprise-class services with our 8(a) partners and are striving to fill a Network Modeling position on a new contract.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Acts as primary customer contact for program activities, leading program review sessions with customer to discuss implementation, schedule, requirements, and technical performance.
• Establishes sub-team milestones and metrics, monitors adherence to master plans and schedules, identifies problems and solutions to issues.
• Directs and leads network modelling team, located in customer spaces. Provides constructive feedback on tasks assigned to employees.
• Interfaces with other vendors, contractors, mission partners, and Government agencies.
• Establishes system of system modelling and simulation environments and executes tactically informed / operationally relevant scenarios.
• Leads analysis of resulting data from modelling and simulation runs.
• Manages overall development and maintenance of modelling and simulation nodes (technical and programmatic).
• Support test events in Hawaii, and in CONUS.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proven track record of successfully delivering highly technical programs or projects.
• Demonstratable experience setting up, executing and interpreting modelling and simulation runs required.
• Familiarity with systems engineering concepts, DoD systems lifecycle a plus.
• Self starter capable of working in high paced environment with senior leader visibility.

EDUCATION:

• Bachelor's in Operations Research, Electrical Engineering, RF Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Networking or related field; or combination of relevant experience and high level industry certification.
• 7 years of experience in relevant competencies showing demonstrated increased responsibilities and successes.
• PMP/PMPI certification a plus.

CLEARANCE:

• Active DoD Security Clearance required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Indoors in normal office environment. May require extensive periods of sitting or standing. Frequent computer use at workstation for several hours at a time. Frequently work at fast pace with unscheduled interruptions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $79,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
