The Team Member Development Non-Clinical Education Coach is responsible for supporting the ongoing development, implementation and evaluation of company initiatives by providing non-clinical education and training to non-clinical team members. The TMD Non-Clinical Education Coach supports initiatives including, but not limited to, patient care workflow redesign, pilot projects, skills competency validation and training, new team member orientation, and expansion of the organization’s non-clinical policies and procedures.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Consistently exhibits behavior and communication skills that demonstrate commitment to superior customer service, including quality and care and concern with each and every internal and external customer
  • Represents the Company in a professional manner, following all Company policies and procedures
  • Uses, protects, and discloses patients’ protected health information (PHI) only in accordance with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) standards
  • Partners with Center team members and corporate leadership to drive the success of the clinic through co-ownership of the clinic’s performance results
  • Serves as a resource and consultant to identify and assist with training and development needs
  • Provides initial and ongoing non-clinical training support for appropriate team members in the clinics
  • Supports and exemplifies core values
  • Participates in the planning, design, implementation, revision and delivery of training curriculum, job aids, resource manuals and skills validation tools
  • Independently develops non-clinical competencies used for on-the-job training as well as skills validation tools for both new hires during New Team Member Orientation and existing staff during annual competency validation
  • Independently develops and implements remediation tools and programs for learning deficits identified during training
  • Works in collaboration with other departments to develop non-clinical education sessions
  • Reviews clinic performance reports and identifies areas and/or processes that need improvement and will lead to positively impacting future clinic performance results
  • Independently performs annual (and as needed) Skills Assessments for Non-Clinical team members in the centers, including coaching and needs assessment sessions
  • After each clinic visit that includes a performance assessment, completes an evaluation form and reviews findings with Center leadership
  • Serves as a subject matter expert in new product testing, and supports the implementation process, as needed
  • Serves as a subject matter expert with clinic startups, acquisitions, and affiliate support as needed
  • Supports Manager and participates/supports Departmental goals with project and committee attendance
  • Works closely with other members of the Team Member Development Team to assure compliance with all Company policies and procedures; Florida Nurse Practice Act; OSHA; HIPAA; other regulatory agencies
  • Must have consistent, punctual and reliable attendance
  • Must be able to work occasional nights and weekends as needed
  • Ability to travel throughout the geographic market as needed, including overnight stays
  • Must be able to travel locally up to 25% of the time (North Orlando, South Orlando, Polk County, and South Florida- Ft. Lauderdale area), to include potential changes to travel locations to support other locations in Florida
  • Performs additional duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Basic Life Support for Healthcare provider and/or ACLS (AHA) or American Red Cross CPR certification required, or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment
  • Ability to obtain Basic Life Support Instructor Certification (AHA) within first year of employment if not currently certified as a BLS Provider
  • Ability to travel locally up to 25% in assigned territories based on the needs of the business (North Orlando, South Orlando, Polk County, and South Florida- Ft. Lauderdale area)
  • Ability to travel throughout the geographic market as needed, including overnight stays
  • Must be able to work occasional nights and weekends as needed
  • Must possess a valid FL driver’s license, insurance, and vehicle for work-related travel
  • Full COVID-19 vaccination is an essential job function of this role. Candidates located in states that mandate COVID-19 booster doses must also comply with those state requirements. Preferred Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree
  • 1+ years of experience in customer service training
  • 1+ years of experience in healthcare environment

  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language fluently
  • Ability to transfer knowledge to clients with diverse cultural backgrounds, educational experiences and learning styles
  • Ability to present training material to individuals and both small and large groups via teleconferences, in person, or utilizing web casts
  • Ability to work collaboratively and maintain good judgment and accountability
