About the Position:

Eagle Crest North Assisted Living is looking for a caring and compassionate staff nurse (LPN or RN) to join our team of dedicated staff! This position will work alongside our Full-Time Nurses to serve the residents in our 42 Assisted Living and 18 Memory Care apartments, and may assist our Independent Living residents on occasion.

Being a Nurse is not just a job, it is a meaningful experience that goes beyond a paycheck. In this position, the Staff Nurse will become familiar with each resident’s care needs, work with the residents and other care providers related to medical concerns, educate and supervise Resident Care Associates in medication administration and other tasks as delegated by the Nurse Manager. The successful candidate will participate in the on-call rotation, and be available to work nights and weekends occasionally as needed to better serve our residents. (Note: Triage Nurses take calls 6pm-6am and on weekends to relieve our primary nurses of most medical calls.) This Nurse will attend continuing education seminars as necessary to maintain compliance with regulatory policies and best practices.

Requirements:

• Currently licensed to practice in the State of Wisconsin as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse

• Demonstrated knowledge of gerontological nursing

• The ability to think critically and problem solve with staff and available resources

• Basic computer skills and the ability to adapt to new software

• One year of prior nursing experience preferred but not required—We will train the right fit for our team!

Our Wages:

• Licensed Practical Nurses starting $26+ per hour, based on qualifications and experience.
• Registered Nurses starting $33+ per hour, based on qualifications and experience.
