The Leominster Adult Outpatient Center provides strength-based individual and group therapy to adults, and couples age 18 and over. We offer integrated, whole person care with primary care, a wellness program, and behavioral health. The Leominster Counseling Center also offers specialized substance use disorder treatment. Our office based opioid treatment offers buprenorphine and vivitrol treatment and we have a Second Offender Alcohol Education program.
The Nurse Manager will ensure all nursing practices are consistent with all regulatory, licensing, and contractual requirements and with Community Healthlink’s True North. - Supervision of nurses in the Adult Outpatient programs including OBOT nurses.
- Management of nurse time sheets and schedules.
- Provide direct nursing services to patients in these programs as needed.
- Implement and monitor nursing practices consistent with agency policies and procedures.
- Participate with other Nurse Managers and the Director of Nursing in the development and implementation of core clinical competencies for nursing staff.
- Participate in the creation and implementation of nursing triage protocols.
- Provides coaching, training, and completing performance reviews with nursing staff.
- Provides clinical staff with information, education and tools to ensure they are supporting efficient patient flow and quality telephonic triage within the practices.
- Responsible for recruiting, staffing, and scheduling of nurses at each site.
- Maintain inventory and quality assurance of medicines, medical equipment, and medical supplies.
- Participate with other Nurse Managers and the Director of Nursing in the creation and implementation of a comprehensive orientation for all new nurses.
- Ensures nurses meet agency annual requirements.
- Participate with other Nurse Managers and the Director of Nursing in the development of process improvements such as: evaluating and improving nursing workflows, nurse triage protocol for patients, patient follow-up care with nurses, medication needs, documentation requirements and standards, as well as care coordination.
- Participate in the Nursing Management Team and the Adult Outpatient Management Team, drug diversion, medication error, Primary Care, OBOT, Open Access, and staff meetings.
- Provide support for medical assistants.
- Support Residents in their orientation to the program.
- Work collaboratively with the leadership of Adult Outpatient Services and Primary Care Services, prescribers, and staff.
- Work collaboratively with outside agencies to coordinate patient care.
- Work with other leadership on quality improvements initiatives.

- Perform other related job duties assigned by the Director.
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Massachusetts
- Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in behavioral health/primary care/integrated care nursing services
- Experience using electronic medical records, MassPAT, Clozapine REMS
- Current valid US-issued driver's license and registered, inspected and insured vehicle for work-related purposes including travel between work sites.
