ATI is looking for an Operations Administrator for our Extrusion department in Millersburg, Oregon. This is a key position within the department, tasked to manage a variety of personnel administration and supply chain functions via the use of enterprise systems. This position cannot be performed remotely. The position is a first point of contact for the Extrusion Team and requires an on-site presence in order to build strong internal and external partnerships critical for success.

The Operations Administrator serves as the primary point of contact for Extrusion department record keeping, filing systems, and general administrative support. You will be responsible for the generation of reports, summaries, and charts in support of department operations; as well as performing logistical functions specific to procurement and sustainment of operational and administrative supply levels. You will play an integral role in department communication through the updating of the department SharePoint site and Marlin boards, and interaction with Extrusion department employees with regard to administrative requirements and deadlines.

In order to be successful, the Operations Administrator will have to quickly learn our facility, procurement, and administrative systems; work collaboratively with the Extrusion team and internal support agencies; and adopt a proactive continuous improvement mindset.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage all aspects LMS (Learning Management System) for the Extrusion department.
  • Preparation of statistical reports, summaries and charts relating to the department's operation, maintaining a high degree of accuracy (department roster, LMS duties, safety check and record retention).
  • Establish and maintain all files, control records, or other information to meet the specific needs for the department, in a confidential manner.
  • Serve as the primary proponent of supply procurement via iProcurement system; coordinate with purchasing and shipping as required.
  • Assist in department Continuous Improvement (CI) activities; to include: audits of Work Instructions and other CI output, capture of tooling procurement statistics, and participation in CI events as required.
  • Coordinate for and participate in department meetings, trainings, and other events.
  • Maintain department SharePoint site, Marlin Board updates, and new employee training documentation.
  • Develop processes to improve the coordination of activities with Receiving and Accounting departments which improve information flow, problem resolution, and other supply issues.
  • Serve as a department liaison with outside vendors.

Requirements:

Basic Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years of office experience, in an industrial, construction, operations, or manufacturing environment.

Preferences

  • Associates Degree (or higher) in Business or a related field.

Additional Skills

  • Have a high degree of attention to details with routinely shifting demands.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of general office machines operation, MS Office Suite, English, grammar, and basic mathematics.
  • Demonstrate advanced skills in interpersonal communication and active engagement with the maintenance team and vendors.
  • Be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Work in a courteous, friendly manner.
  • Be a self-starter and can work independently.
