Supervisory scope:
Direct Reports – 10-20
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Responsible for the oversight of all daily operations at their assigned terminal
- Develops, implements and oversees the implementation of new procedures to increase efficiency.
- Drives organizational culture and ensures that all staff members are functioning cohesively
- Communicates expectations, coaches for improvement and distributes discipline when necessary
- Maintains strong customer relationships with dairies, vendors and plants
- Works closely with all other WDT locations to ensure cohesiveness throughout the organization
- Works with ROM and other management team members and the HR department regarding hiring and termination decisions.
- Responsible for taking calls after hours and weekends to ensure continued customer service at all hours
- Works with ROM to complete yearly evaluations and set goals for employees
- Perform driver/loader evaluations at the dairy farm and report back to ROM and other management team members.
- Class A CDL with tanker endorsement
- Current Milk Loaders Permit
- Favorable driving record and CSA score
- Must live within 40 miles of the Lovington Terminal or willing to relocate
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 current year of milk loading experience
Specific Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Patience and Friendly Attitude
- Ability to lead others and de-escalate/resolve conflict, seeking HR assistance when needed
- Customer Service
- Proficient with computer skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects
