A day in the life:

The ideal Tacoma Screw Warehouse employee enjoys working in a fast pace, physically demanding environment. Perform an array of functions in a warehouse setting that may include receiving and processing incoming stock, picking and filling orders from stock, packaging and shipping orders, disposal of shipping materials, and managing, organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse.

Our warehouse team needs to balance the ability to work independently and within a team environment. We are looking for individuals who are self-motivated, have the ability to identify and solve problems, are able to perform their daily tasks in a timely manner with a high level of detail and accuracy, and value workplace cleanliness and safety.

Required Experience:

Physical Requirements:

This position involves frequent walking, pushing/pulling, repetitive bending, stooping, heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds), and occasional climbing on ladders to reach product in shelves.

Required Skills/Experience

• High School Diploma or GED
• Solid math, verbal, and written communication skills
• Computer literacy, RF Scanner experience is desired
• Able to meet or exceed minimum efficiency levels and production standards.
• Able to work rapidly at a constant pace for the entire shift, in a fast-paced environment.
• Develop a good working knowledge of product, placement, and inventory control techniques and procedures.
• Able to read, write, and communicate effectively as it relates to the job and to the safety regulations.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform the physical demands of this job
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Warehouse experience is desired but not required
• Forklift experience is highly desirable
