OrthoCarolina is currently searching for aPayroll Analystto work with our Payroll Team at our Administration Office in Charlotte.

This position is mostly remote but may be required to come on site as needed or trusteed.

The Payroll Analyst will be preparing journal entries, reports and payroll processes. This position will support the Payroll application of the HR Management system (WorkDay). The Payroll Analyst serves as a technical point-of-contact for payroll functional areas and assists with ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, upgrades, report writing and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities. The Payroll Analyst acts as a liaison between end users and technical resources to resolve daily production issues, create reports and develop enhancements. This person should possess strong time management and organization skills in order to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Other duties may include:

  • Review and process payroll such as: Check electronic data for errors; Ensures managers approve and submit timecards; Compile employee time, production and payroll data from time sheets and other records; Checking and auditing timekeeping records for compliance with established standards; Balance payroll runs
  • Reconcile payroll general ledger accounts and completes various month-end journal entries and associated duties:
  • Completes FTE analysis.
  • Coordinated care/Bundled payment reconciliation.
  • Compiles reports for financial packet.
  • Analyzes and determines application and interface solutions , understand application functionality in Workday.
  • Collaborates with managers and colleagues to discuss specific reporting needs from Workday Payroll.
  • Maintains/updates foundation tables and adjusts system business processes as needed for Payroll.
  • Updates Workday Payroll configuration to change current functionality or add new functionality.

This person should possess strong time management and organization skills in order to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Experience in Workday is highly preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $54,800.00 - $82,200.00 per year
