TSI is looking for a
Peer Advocate Specialist to join our Crisis Respite located in our Queens Village, NY location. This position will report into the Program Director of Mieles Respite.

Position Summary
Provide support, encouragement and assistance to mental health consumers. Promote those activities that foster recovery and empowerment by sharing their personal experiences, when appropriate, modeling self-help and wellness activities.

- Perform other related duties as required.
Experience/Education/Skills/Abilities
- High School diploma or a combination of education and relevant experience to total four years and graduate of a Peer Advocate training program.
- Minimum qualifications may be waived in unusual circumstances with approval of the CEO as long as City and State requirements are met.
