Job Description
Provides Physics service to the Radiation Therapy Department in accordance with the highest standards of Practice and as required by regulatory agencies.
Qualifications
EDUCATION:
- MS or PhD in Medical Physics, Physics or Related Discipline, certified by The American Board of Radiology or American Board of Medical Physics In Radiation Oncology Physics (Or will Obtain Certification Within 5 years of date of hire.
- Meets qualified expert criteria defined by the State of Massachusetts.
EXPERIENCE:
- Meets experience criteria for ABR eligibility.
SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- Sufficient interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, physicians and other staff.
