POSITION OVERVIEW:
Earth Labs Holding LLC is seeking an experienced sourcing and procurement professional with experience in food, nutraceuticals, or consumer health products. You will be responsible for planning, sourcing and procurement for all product lines while ensuring maximum cost effectiveness, quality, and delivery of goods. This position works tirelessly to achieve cost savings goals while increasing the quality of purchased products.

Supply Chain Director
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
- Source and procure cost-effective, high-quality, raw ingredients, materials and supplies in a timely manner to produce premium finished products according to schedule, inventory, and stock optimization.
- Drive improvements in the ERP system and planning process in order to meet customer order fulfillment targets and goals.
- Monitor on-time delivery and quality of products ordered to recognize and mitigate risk.
- Source and qualify suppliers, negotiate prices and term blanket orders, and recommend purchases that provide the maximum economic benefit to the company while ensuring suppliers meet quality and purchase specifications.
- Optimize supplier selection and develop new suppliers for each material to deliver the lowest sustainable prices while ensuring continuity of supply. Continually research additional sources of materials.
- Develop and drive the RFQ process for new products and suppliers and make recommendations.
- Direct, coach, and mentor junior buyers across possible multiple sites.
- Deliver KPIs including quality, pricing, delivery, cost savings, suppler rationalization, supply availability, and risk management, while meeting or exceeding financial targets.
- Drive the quality requirements for suppliers.
- Assess and communicate current market factors affecting price and availability of products, and report on future availability.
- Interface with multiple departments to resolve quality and rejected materials problems.
- Actively support new product development.
- Track and reconcile weekly and monthly metrics versus targets.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field.
- 3+ years’ sourcing and procurement experience in a manufacturing environment for food, nutraceutical or other natural products.
- Knowledge of industry suppliers, products, and manufacturing capabilities required.
- Proven success at new supplier selection and development.
- Proven ability to negotiate substantial cost savings.
- Strong understanding of supply chain process.
