Preschool Teacher or Classroom Aide
Looking for a warm, friendly, energetic teacher who loves working with preschoolers who are 18 mths. -3 years of age. The ability to develop a nurturing relationship with children as well as a friendly rapport with parents are both a must. The ability to work as part of a team is important. Lead teachers must be able to plan an age-appropriate curriculum.
Position available immediately or beginning in July 2023.
Education: Applicants for the position of teacher must have a minimum of 12 ECE units in classes that meet the criteria for California State Childcare Licensing Permit requirements. Applicants for a classroom aide position must have a minimum of 6 ECE class units or be enrolled in classes.
Job Type: Full-time positions available for 5 days per week 8:45-4:45 pm or 9:00-5:00 pm. Part-time positions are available for flexible hours/days.
Compensation: Hourly rate of $18.00-22.00. Planning and preparation time is included in the hourly rate. Paid sick time. Paid federal holidays and school breaks. One child from each staff member’s household may attend Growing Tree for free during the staff member’s assigned hours.
