Jefferson Center is seeking a talent clinician (Licensed or Unlicensed working towards clinical licensure) who is looking to inspire hope, improve lives and strengthen our community by providing mental health services for commercially insured individuals and families. This position will be primarily Telehealth with some in-office services as indicated.

Positions are available on a Full-time or Part-time basis.
Responsibilities:
Essential Duties:
This position is a combination of Telehealth and in person services based on the needs of the practice. This is subject to change due to COVID19 circumstances
  • Provides individual and/or family treatment to insured, third party clients. Willingness and competency to work with children, adolescents, and families is required for this current opening.
  • Provides intake assessments and develops individualized treatment plans.
  • Actively engages client (or family) in the treatment process and goal setting. Identifies risk factors including lethality. Works constructively with consumers to reach agreed upon outcome, and actively coordinates care with other internal or external providers. Maintains appropriate professional standards and provides timely, appropriate follow-up for clients.
  • Completes necessary documentation (including accurate treatment codes) in order to successfully submit claims for services completed. Manage a Scheduling Calendar, continually assess capacity for new clients and maintain an active caseload with clients at various stages of treatment cycle.
  • Participates in supervision by coming prepared with an agenda. Reports high risk/problem cases, and utilizes a problem solving approach as well as feedback. Attends supervision at times and intervals agreed upon with supervisor.
  • Maintains good client satisfaction and assist in periodic survey and assessment of client satisfaction.
  • Satisfy the continuing competency training required to maintain and renew Colorado license through internal training schedule and program offerings.
  • Effectively responds to the client and the 3rd Party Payer regarding needs and problems. Initiates and maintains positive interactions, timely response to phone calls, email and other requests.
  • Exhibits enthusiasm, courtesy, adaptability, flexibility, and spirit of cooperation in the work environment.
  • Maintains effective interpersonal relations with consumers, peers, subordinates, upper management, visitors and the general public. Uses language and behavior to promote dignity and respect.
  • Demonstrates knowledge and skills to develop therapeutic alliance with consumers and to work effectively and with cultural competence with consumers from diverse backgrounds.
  • Participates in staff development activities to enhance professional growth.
  • Addresses the whole health needs of the client by ensuring that appropriate releases are in place for physical health care providers, making appropriate referrals as needed when significant physical health needs are a consideration.
  • Have an understanding of how trauma impacts the lives of the people being served, so that every interaction is consistent with the recovery process and reduces the possibility of re-traumatization.
  • Participate in the Center’s training/educational programs designed to enhance knowledge about Trauma Informed Care, the impact of trauma and trauma recovery.
  • Assesses and treats co-occurring substance use and mental health needs within the scope of one’s expertise (e.g. CAC certified).
  • Utilizes a range of appropriate clinical and recovery focused interventions according to clinical need, or refers as indicated, to trauma specific treatment, wellness classes/coaching, co-occurring/substance use services, and employment services.

Qualifications:
Qualifications
  • Master's Degree (from accredited university/college) required.
  • Experience in effectively engaging clients and forming strong therapeutic alliances to support treatment.
  • Experience in general practice serving clients across all age ranges with the ability to serve a broad scope of acuity and severity in an office based outpatient service model is preferred.
  • Knowledge and experience in a managed behavioral health care model with the ability to follow guidelines and procedures established by practice management to meet 3rd party payer requirements is preferred.
  • Preferred but not required: Colorado license (LPC; LCSW; LMFT; Ph.D., or Psy.D).
Salary & Benefits:
Grade 51-Master’s Unlicensed Clinician
  • $46,400 to $58,900**
    • Salary is determined based on years of total relevant experience.
    • Salary is based on 1.0 FTE (full time equivalent) or 40 hours per week. Less than 40 hours/week will be prorated and adjusted to the appropriate FTE.
Grade 52-Licensed Clinician (LCSW, LMFT, LPC)
  • $55,600 to $70,900
    • Salary is determined based on years of total relevant experience.
    • Salary is based on 1.0 FTE (full time equivalent) or 40 hours per week. Less than 40 hours/week will be prorated and adjusted to the appropriate FTE.

**BONUS OPPORTUNITY!! Three phase bonus paid out using the following schedule. ** Based on full time (40 hours/week). Prorate if less than 40 hours/week. Must work a minimum of 20 hours/week to be eligible for bonus.
