The Programmable Solutions Group (PSG) is a world-class Research and Development organization. You will have the opportunity to work with passionate engineers to unleash the potential of FPGAs. The group comprises best-in-class experts creating state-of-the-art CAD software tools for industry-leading programmable logic device architectures.

We are looking for an experienced hardware engineer with extensive software and computer science experience specializing in accelerating computationally intensive applications using FPGAs. Candidate must have a solid background in embedded systems,, and software/hardware co-design. A proven record in carrying designs from initial concept to customer delivery is required.

You will have the opportunity to define product architecture and integration among multiple teams. You will be the key interface with stakeholders and leadership internally and externally. In addition, you will be the lead technical engineer team assessing risks and identifying timely solutions to achieving program goals.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

MS Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering or a related field and 10+ years of related experience
8+ years of experience in CAD

8+ years of experience in C++/C, Java and Python and software architecture

8+ years of experience of SOC architecture design and software/hardware co-design

5+ years of experience in Verilog, VHDL RTL design

Preferred Qualifications
Hand-on knowledge of state-of-the-art FPGA design tools

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado, New York, Washington, California: $180,270.00-$288,770.00

Working Model

This role is available as a fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need. This role may also be available as our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
