JOB DESCRIPTION: Production II (zone pick)
Shift : 8:00pm - 6:30am

Position Summary: A Production II (Direct/Production Bonus Eligible) associate is responsible for multiple duties including Restock, Order Audit and Picking of customer orders. Demonstrated and sustained accuracy and production standards in Restock, Order Audit and Picking must be achieved.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for checking out equipment and returning it in same condition.
• Pick, pack and audit customer orders according to Standard operating procedures (SOP).
• May build processing carts according to SOP
• In the restock function great customer service must be provided by quickly and accurately restocking product into designated locations as directed by a voice or radio frequency (RF) unit.
• In the Order Audit function quick and efficient inspection is required of outbound customer orders for accuracy and compliance.
• Use of automated systems which require ability to utilize light bar system to process work for designated task.
• Scan tote with RF unit, verify product and quantity, confirm information is correct via RF unit, place tote back on line. If incorrect send to error resolution.
• Identify location ready to be packed, box size, consolidate product into box, seal the boxes, label, and direct completed orders onto conveyor to be sent to shipping.
• In the picking function quick and accurate picking of product is required. Orders are picked from designated locations and placed into tote that are on a pre-built pick cart. This is done by direction of a voice or Radio Frequency unit.
• Meet minimum production and accuracy standards and delivery deadlines.
• Maintain safe, neat, and clean work area by adhering to SanMar safety regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements for Position:

• Demonstrated ability to follow directions and change priorities or job duties as business needs require.
• Ability to work in fast-paced, high-volume environment while meeting deadlines.
• Ability to walk/stand on hard cement floor for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift/carry 40 lbs. consistently.
• Ability to lift product/cases above shoulder.
• Ability to work both independently and within a team.
• Demonstrate verbal and written instructions.
• Strong attention to details.
• Comprehend verbal and written instructions.
• Operate a voice unit and Radio Frequency (RF) unit.
• Ability to correctly identify color of light for designated task.
• Regular and prompt attendance.
• Mandatory extra hours as required, may include weekends.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read, write and have sufficient ability to identify colors, sizes, quantity, label and SKU information.
• Basic math skills in counting and quantity required.

Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is constantly required to walk and stand. The employee is
frequently required to reach with hands and arms, handle or feel, to pull/push a cart/tote with product, grasp and
perform repetitive hand, wrist and arm motions. The employee is frequently required to climb, kneel/squat, bend and
carry. The employee occasionally lifts and/or moves up to 50 pounds, and seldom lifts and/or moves up to 60 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and
ability to adjust focus.
Work environment is moderately noisy. The employee is frequently required to work near conveyor systems. There is
exposure to dust and changes in weather conditions. Employee must be able to work in a high-volume, high-demand
environment while meeting strenuous customer deadlines. Employee must be able to change priorities or job duties as
needed and interact with employees at all levels.
