Job Summary
ACCO Brands is seeking a Product Manager to join our Work Platform team to lead efforts in growing our brands and products, as consumers require new innovative solutions to address the evolution in today’s work environments. You will be a key leader on our product development organization and collaborate within the product development organization, as well as insights, brand and marketing teams, with a focus on the product strategy, three to five year product roadmaps and execution of programs
Responsibilities

  • Lead strategy and execution of product development programs for the segment
  • Work with Consumer Insights to understand customer needs and define opportunities through usability and empathy studies and analyzing data trends
  • Collaborate and partner with regional marketing teams to deliver product innovations in conjunction with the new product development process
  • Develop and execute multi-year roadmaps
  • Work with partners to develop and test Minimum Viable Propositions (MVP’s) that can then be scaled by the business
  • Lead projects through Stage gate process, including business case development and financial approvals inclusive of successful go to market investments
  • Ensures regulatory compliance and claims substantiation in collaboration with Regional Marketing teams, Legal and Compliance teams

Qualifications

  • BS/BA is required, preferably in Business Administration or Marketing or a related field
  • Minimum of 6+ years of marketing experience is required, preferably product management experience
  • Demonstrated success in program or project management and experience with leading development of products
  • Ambitious and resourceful; results oriented; highly innovative. Focused on business value creation through innovation
  • Must understand product development cycle from concept to commercialization and experienced in stage gate or milestone process
  • Experience leading and developing teams of various skill levels. Proven experience in building, motivating, and leading high-performance teams
  • Strong organizational, written, presentation and communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills and general business acumen
  • Experience with Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Travel: Approximately 10-15% with potential for some international travel
  • Local candidates only. Must be able to work onsite 3 days per week (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday)
