UMMARY

The Project Manager will provide supervision and strategic management for programs serving refugees and other eligible immigrants and lead a team of people to perform high quality, core resettlement services, while ensuring compliance with program requirements established by USCIS policy and procedures.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Includes the following:

  • Oversee staffing, management and reporting and be primary point of contact for COR.
  • Conducts reviews of all staff, ensuring compliance with USCIS policy and procedures, timely performance of tasks and deliverables, collaboration with USCIS stakeholders, and training needs.
  • Conducts data and processes quality assessments of planning products and prepare for assessment reviews to ensure compliance with program performance management.
  • Direct work priorities to maintain a professionally managed program.
  • Establishes and coordinates business rhythms required to accomplish program control, analyses and forecasting objectives.
  • Assists the client in developing departmental and Command level SOPs, and Desktop Procedure Manuals as required, to support services
  • Performs project management activities including, but not limited to, planning, scheduling, reporting, organizing, coordinating, and directing internal resources to achieve requirements and service levels.
  • Possesses communication and organizational skills, work well under pressure, and handle multiple projects at once
  • Engages with and deliver presentations of work to sponsors and other external stakeholders.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY/MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY

Manage multiple projects without having direct supervisory responsibilities.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field and at least five years of relevant experience in social work, refugee resettlement, immigrant support, and/or non-profit operations.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Must have experience managing federal contracting or traditional project/program management.
  • Must have excellent oral, verbal, written communication skills.
  • Skilled in managing complex, integrated work plans.
  • Skilled in contract language, budgets, staffing plans, subcontractors and service delivery.
  • Skilled in developing executive-level briefings and presentations.
  • Ability to lead or contribute to the development of technical reports and procedures
  • Must have advanced skills with Microsoft Office Suite programs such as Word, Excel, Access, Project, PowerPoint, and Visio.
  • Be self-motivated, positive, can-do approach and team player.
  • The ability to pass a drug screen and background check is required.
  • Applicants selected may be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Work will be performed in a climate-controlled office environment. Travel may be required up to 25% of the time.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $160,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
