The Project Manager Alliances Joint Ventures is responsible for developing financial and economic analysis related to Deltas joint ventures (JV) with Virgin Atlantic, Air France KLM, Korean Air, Aeromexico, LATAM and other Delta global alliance partners.
Job responsibilities include:
- Perform economic analysis related to current and new joint ventures, including forecasting, settlement, contract negotiation, and reporting. Responsible for monthly updates to joint venture performance reporting, forecasts, and settlement projections with investigation of revenue and cost trends and data quality control.
- The role acts as a strategic business partner to multiple functional areas covering the JV related revenue and costs within the company, as well as externally with global partners.
- Responsible for partnering with Deltas Financial Reporting team to achieve timely reporting and accurate estimates of JV settlements and other partner-related Alliances settlements.
- Reporting tasks include developing insightful and succinct summaries of key partner opportunities and issues as well as proposed action plans for senior members of Delta and partner management.
- Practices safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures.

What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)
- Bachelors degree in a business, economics, finance, or similar analytical field required.
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
- Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Excellent data synthesis and presentation skills, with ability to prioritize and meet deadlines under pressure.
- Deliver results and possess excellent planning and organizational skills.
- Periodic travel to partner home regions will be required.
- Must be performing satisfactorily in current position.
- Where permitted by applicable law, must have received or be willing to receive the COVID-19 vaccine by date of hire to be considered for U.S.-based job, if not currently employed by Delta Air Lines, Inc.

What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications)
- MBA preferred
- Previous experience in Delta Finance, Flight Profitability, Revenue Management or Network Planning is a plus.
- Familiarity with Delta corporate statistics and data sources preferred.
