PT Battery Changer Job at Alex Lee, Inc.
Overview:
Supports warehouse operations by maintaining batteries to ensure quality and quantities are available for daily use.
Schedule: Sat/Sun 3pm-11pm
Works under the general direction of the Maintenance Manger.
Responsibilities:
- Working knowledge of job site safety as well as ability to complete a company specific safety orientation.
- Certified or can become certified to operate equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Must be able to wash and water batteries daily.
- Responsible for maintaining an inventory of batteries washed and watered.
- Must be able to operate the battery changer.
- Must be able to repair battery cable ends and connectors.
- Must maintain the battery room in a neat and orderly fashion daily.
- Must be able to work well with mechanics, technicians, and warehouse personnel.
- Assist mechanics in other technical areas as needed.
- May be required to perform other tasks as assigned by supervision.
- Utilize company work order system for assignments and track time.
- Attend and successfully complete any training as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED
- Must have basic computer skills.
- Must have basic DC electrical knowledge (testing required).
- Must be a self-starter and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Must be able bend, twist, and lift up to 70 lbs. and pass lifting test
