ABACUS Austin is currently seeking a Purchasing Coordinator to join our HVAC team comprised of creative and energetic employees, who are dedicated to delivering the best customer service experience every day. As an essential member of the Abacus team, the Purchasing Coordinator will oversee and manage the purchase of products, inventory and services while coordinating with vendors, clients, management and team members.

Qualifications:
Do I have What it Takes?
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1 year Administrative AND Purchasing experience
  • HVAC supply knowledge is a HUGE Plus
  • Logistics experience
  • Ability to build relationships with clients and vendors
  • Strong analytical, decision-making and negotiation skills
  • Highly organized and the ability to prioritize workload
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Intermediate skills with Microsoft office
  • Experience in Service Titan a huge plus
  • Forklift experience preferred
Responsibilities:
What Will I Do?

  • Serve as a liason between the company and suppliers
  • Assess products. services and vendors
  • Research and negotiate on pricing of products and services
  • Conduct product and service quality appraisal
  • Monitor inventory and collaborate on deliveries according to project deadlines
  • Forecast and determine trends and order requirements.
  • Maintain accuracy of vendor and internal data
  • Assist warehouse staff with receiving supplies and equipment
