The Development Operations Quality team is looking for an experienced Quality Engineer on 1st shift who is energetic and motivated to support Development Engines Assembly and Test process, facilitate root cause analysis, initiate continual improvement initiatives, and ensure compliance to Pratt & Whitney Quality System.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develops, modifies, applies, and maintains quality evaluation, control systems, and protocols for assembly and test of development, compliance, or flight test engines.
- Provides analysis and explanations of testing and inspection plans, methods, and technologies to assure reliability and conformance of products and processes.
- Analyzes and makes recommendations for corrective actions for nonconformities and/or design problems for internally produced products & processes.
- Reviews process control documentation to ensure compliance with requirements, objectives, and/or contracts.
- Ensures that projects and process control documentation are compliant with requirements, objectives, and/or contracts.
- Analyzes and makes recommendations for Quality Assurance plans, guidelines, policies, and processes to ensure the achievement of Quality targets.
- Provides process analysis, ensuring quality standards are met and making recommendations for quality improvements.
- Conducts collection and analysis of quality information from multiple sources for the development of quality strategy and programs.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience
- US Citizenship required due to government contracts.
- Working Knowledge of Blue prints, QNs (Quality Notifications), Inspection methods.
- Must have prior Quality, Operations, Manufacturing/logistics, Auditing, or Engineering experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3 + years Quality, Operations, Manufacturing/logistics, Auditing, or Engineering experience desired.
- Possess a strong understanding of effective Quality systems and methodologies and their impact on both the internal and external business environments.
- Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills must have demonstrated ability to work effectively with associates at all levels throughout the organization.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.
