About this Role:
The Regional Sales Director provides leadership and strategic direction to Territory Business Managers to achieve performance objectives. This is accomplished through strong leadership competencies, effective coaching, utilization of resources and strong collaboration with other divisions or disciplines within Biogen and external business partners. Regional Director- Southwest Region: Arizona, New Mexico, Southern Nevada, and West Texas. This position must demonstrate the following functional and leadership competencies to be successful as a Regional Sales Director at Biogen.

Who you are:
You will help your team achieve annual sales goals of the Biogen MS Portfolio. You will be a coach and champion for your team and in all aspects of job performance and ensure training and development of the Territory Business Manager in their region. You will work to establish individual and regional goals and strategies along with performance management within the region. The Regional Sales Manager will work on projects, budgets, and plan and execute regional sales meetings. You are a strong communicator, understanding of market trends and performance within the neurology space.
5 years sales management experience required- 5 – 10 years specialty/biologics sales experience
- Proven successful track record of consistent high performance
- Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team towards meeting and exceeding objectives
- Strong leadership, planning and organization, analytics, decision making and problem-solving skills
- Organizational awareness
- Strong leadership and coaching skills
- Ability to influence without authority in a matrixed environment
- Strong strategic planning and analytical skills
- Experience with systematic approach to selling and sales procedures
- Cross functional experience in other commercial areas preferred
- Neurology Sales Experience or Knowledge of the Neurology Market preferred
- Significant travel required
- BS/BA Required
MBA Preferred
Driving is an essential duty of the job; candidates must have a valid driver’s license to be considered.
Additional Information
The base compensation range for this role is $170,300 to $255,500. Base salary is determined by a combination of factors including, but not limited to, job-related years of relevant experience, internal equity, and location of the job. Additionally, this role is eligible for participation in Biogen’s LTI grants and other incentive programs.
