Dunson and Associates is seeking RNs to join our team!
We have 13 week contracts, with the potential to be hired on full time with Premier Health.
Specialties Include:
- RN - CVICU (Night Shift 4x12)
- RN - Patient Care Unit (Night Shift 4x12 & 3x12)
- RN - Step Down Neuroscience (Night Shift 4x12)
- RN - Step Down Heart & Vascular (Night Shift 4x12)
- RN - Step Down Orthopedics (Night Shift 4x12)
- RN - Step Down Pulmonary (Night Shift 4x12)
Locations available:
- Miami Valley Hospital (Main Campus)
Shifts:
- Nights - 12hr Shifts
- 3 to 4 shifts with every other weekend/holiday
Requirements:
- AT LEAST 1 YEAR EXP-ACUTE CARE EXP (HOSPITAL SETTING) REQUIRED
- EXP WITH PATIENT RATIOS OF 1:6
- EPIC CHARTING EXPERIENCE
- CURRENT NURSING LICENSE
- CURRENT BLS
Responsibilities:
- Administer nursing care to ill, injured, or disabled patients
- Diagnose and establish patient treatment plans
- Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior
- Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care
- Educate patients about health maintenance and disease prevention
- Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
- Maintain accurate patient medical records
- Provide advice and emotional support to patients and their family members
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in nursing or other medical fields
- Familiarity with medical software and equipment
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Current BLS
- Current OHIO RN License
- Minimum 1 year experience in a large hospital
- Covid Vaccine is mandatory or Religious exempt
- Flu Vaccine is mandatory or Religious exempt
