An Excellent Opportunity
This is an excellent full-time position allowing the chosen candidate to work an on-call schedule from 7a – 7p on Saturday, Sunday and Monday responding to distress calls, providing nursing care, emotional support and education to terminally ill patients and their care providers in the
Elkin service area after regular business hours. Support may be in the form of telephone triage or face-to-face visits depending on the needs of the patient and family.
Duties

Responds to calls from patients, families, caregivers

Provide direct nursing and supportive care for the terminally ill patient

Perform late day admissions and tuck-in visits.

Recognize, report, and document changes in patient/client condition
Schedule

On Call 7am through 7pm

Saturday, Sunday, Monday
Qualifications
-
Valid Registered Nurse License
-
BLS Certification
-
Valid Driver’s License
Vaccination for COVID-19 & annual flu vaccination are conditions of employment unless an employee qualifies for a medical or religious exemption.
