To succeed in this role, you must have Extensive experience in the Secondary Aluminum industry, ranging from plant operations, maintenance, planning, design, and project execution with a demonstrated history of applying technical solutions and driving projects to successful outcomes.

You will join our Metals Industry department

As one of our Subject Matter Experts you will be part of a group looking to support our expanding capabilities and participate in continued growth of our services to the Secondary Aluminum Industry

Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:

• Extensive experience in the metals industry, ranging from plant operations, maintenance, planning, design, and project execution with a demonstrated history of applying technical solutions.
• Apply knowledge of current principles and practices in support of project development and project execution including emerging technology development.
• Advise clients on technology and equipment solutions that satisfy their business objectives.
• Demonstrated leadership experience including:
• Communicating with, guiding, and advising a variety of individuals representing our clients, including executives, engineers, and other business professionals.
• Prepare proposals and work scopes reflecting understanding of client needs, development of budgets and cost estimates, and managing established client relationships
• Develop new clients, and generating new business with existing clients, using interpersonal skills to promote client confidence. Exposure to sensitive client information will necessitate considerable use of tact, diplomacy, and judgment.
• Contribute to securing business where our clients are investing in upgrades and capital expansions.
• Communicate effectively with differing audiences (internal, clients, vendors, contractors) verbally and written
• Recognized as a Thought leader in selected subject matter areas aligned with branded programs and services
• Actively participate in relevant professional affiliation(s) within the thought leader’s area of expertise.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in engineering (Metals, Mechanical or Chemical) - related degrees considered
• Professional registration(s) is preferred
• 15+ years industry/ consulting experience
• Active participation in professional associations and other organizations
