RFA Engineering (www.rfamec.com) is seeking several growth-oriented entry level to experienced candidates to be part of our team in Dubuque, Iowa. You will work with multidisciplinary teams to develop sales and training material for our customers dealer network.

Forestry Sales Development Specialist

Develops and leads the sales material development process (sales story) and integrates with other departments including Sales, Product Marketing, Training and Customer Support to ensure coordination among the groups that supports our overall sales strategy. You will have the opportunity to communicate and interact with customers and dealers, travel to customer/dealer sites to deliver product demonstrations & training.

Responsibilities

• Work with Production System Manager in order to help develop/communicate EDGE material to the Training Center and field team for dealer sales development.
• Supports sales development and training – including customer demos, events and dealer initiatives.
• As needed, support PCBs, (Product Comparison Bulletin) production studies and other EDGE (sales manual) development related activities.
• Assist in the creation of PCB reports as needed.
• Create the sales story from PCB information in coordination with the training center.
• Leads the development and communication of products and application sales information based on market needs and competitive positioning.
• Coordinates delivery of the information with the Training Center and ensures information is readily available.
• Supports delivery of training/new product webinars.
• Develops and provides sales related product information (sales story) and competitive product intel to Forestry Field Managers and dealers.
• Develops counter-point sales messaging from competitive sales information.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Technology, Business or related field
• Prior experience in a technical support role.
• Experience working with construction or Off-Highway equipment
• Must have a valid Drivers License
• Ability to travel around 10%-25% (Mainly US and Canda with limited international travel)
  • Travel will be steady at least 10% of the time. Max travel around 60%
