We are looking for sales associates in several of our Puppies 'N Love and Animal Kingdom pet stores around the Valley. You should be passionate about animals, have great people skills and be driven to grow and advance in your careers with us. Your primary job is to match and place loving puppies into new homes while maintaining strong sales skills and customer service.

Job Accountabilities

Stuff you'll be doing (should you accept this pawesome opportunity):

· Providing best-in-class customer service matching puppies with appropriate new forever owners/homes.

· Sharing pet and product knowledge to facilitate sales

· Ensure the health and well-being of the puppies

· Effectively communicate with fellow puppy sales specialists and other team members to create a positive, collaborative and welcoming environment

· Performing all aspects of point-of-sale service

· Not your typical 9 to 5 job and requires availability to work in a retail environment including some weekends and nights

· Understand and utilize in house software effectively

· Develop and utilize great phone skills while dealing with customers/potential customers in customer service follow up calls, responding to customer inquiries and setting appointments

· Properly document all sales efforts with guests in order to properly track opportunities to match the right puppy with the right family

What you bring to the table

· Minimum high school diploma or GED

· A positive attitude, a willingness to learn and dedication to outstanding customer service.

· Exceptional communication skills

· Knowledge of the pet industry a bonus, but not required if other criteria is met.

· Must love dogs!

· Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced team environment and often times under stressful situations.

· Ability to stand for 8 hours and be mobile in the store for long periods of time to greet customers and socialize puppies.

· Ability to develop and utilize software skills like working in a CRM, Excel, and Word
