A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A SALES TICKET ADMIN
As a Sales Ticket Admin for our impressive and unique sand/gravel operation, you are the face of our business when customers and third-party-truckers arrive to pick up our products. You serve as a backup for the main Sales Ticket Admin when they're unavailable, but otherwise you work hand-in-hand with the main Sales Ticket Admin to process sales for the Sand & Gravel division. Customers' impression of our business lies in your hands communicating with them on the phone and the truckers they send in to pick up the product. That said, you make sure when truckers arrive for pickup that you obtain the correct info needed to make sure each sale is processed smoothly. You are keeping various reports in Excel up to date and distributing them to sales and managers to keep them informed. When pricing for products, jobs, or customers need changed you make the changes (and monitor that pricing is correct, notifying managers/sales if they don't appear to be correct). You work closely with the Production Manager and Division Manager to keep sales processing smoothly day-to-day. You also assist with other Sand & Gravel admin staff to assist and support various admin duties.
Most of your time is spent cutting sales tickets and working with customers and the sales system, but when you're not there's plenty of opportunity to make sure your area in the truck scale house is clean and tickets are filed and organized. You are all about listening to your Division Manager and Operations Manager and helping in any way you can.
