Seam Forming Job at Albany International Corp.
The Seam Forming Operator plays a major role in the production of Press Fabrics for use in the pulp and paper industry. Over time the incumbent is trained in a variety of distinct tasks each associated with the classification of Seam Forming Operator. These include: Bonding, Seam Forming, Web Making and Needling.
Essential Job Functions:
- To operate needling equipment
- To follow instructions on manufacturing cards
- To perform standard work as specified in JIBS
- To assure quality of products
- To perform minor maintenance work
- To participate on various Department Groups and Committees
- To act as a member of a Department PI Team
- To perform all tasks requested by supervisor
- Reads, understands and is committed to conducting business in accordance to Albany International's Business Ethics Policy. All business of the company should, at all times, be conducted ethically, fairly, honestly, and with integrity.
