As a security cooperation professional, you’ll bring your analytical and technical expertise to work on projects for the Institute for Security Cooperation. You’ll research, develop analyze, assess, and provide support to a host of defense and security cooperation engagements, both virtual and client-facing. You’ll be a trusted advisor to our clients, and we’ll look to you to identify, analyze, and evaluate complex security and defense systems, policies, and processes. You’ll guide the work we do for the Institute for Security Governance and the solutions we deliver for our allies and partner nations. You served our nation as a seasoned military officer. Further, your career with us as you help solve complex design, integration, and analytical problems for U.S. allies and partner nations.

You Have: Â

  • 10+ years of experience in interacting with civilian or military representatives of security or defense organizations of foreign nations above the tactical level

  • Experience in defense-focused functional areas, including Joint or Air Force Service strategy, policy, and planning development at the national or regional level, air force capacity and capability development, planning and execution of air operations, air force acquisition, operational testing, and aircraft systems integration, air force organizational force structure development and transformation, air force logistics, or air force workforce development

  • Experience with relating to regional expertise or security cooperation at a strategic level with a U.S. or Allied Headquarters, including the Joint Staff, the DoD, a Combatant Command or one of its supporting service components, a Service Staff, or a Defense Agency

  • Experience in working with allied, coalition, or partner nations related to security cooperation efforts

  • Knowledge of security cooperation authorities, policies, processes, procedures, and resources

  • Secret clearance

  • Master’s degree

  • Experience as a member of a U.S. Country Team aboard working on security cooperation matters

  • Experience with Assessment, Monitoring, and Evaluation policies, approaches, and processes as applied to security cooperation programs and activities

  • Experience with working in the Department of Defense or the State Department

  • Top Secret clearance

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $81,800.00 to $186,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
