As You Are is an exciting new company whose mission is to establish a world-class virtual clinic that dramatically increases access to early neurodevelopmental diagnostic services and care coordination. Through telemedicine, our team of pediatricians specialized in autism diagnostic evaluations will increase community access to expert opinion for caregivers searching for answers about their child’s social development or for primary care physicians who understand the importance of early ASD diagnosis, but are not equipped to diagnose ASD in the primary care setting.

JOB SCOPE

The Senior Business Analyst will be responsible for working with large datasets and analyzing internal trends as well as market trends in order to inform efficient operations in support of core organizational functions. The Senior Business Analyst will apply an advanced level of analytical and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate, and resolve broad business and/or systems issues in order to optimize the As You Are business. The Senior Business Analyst must have experience managing large datasets, building dashboards, market research projects and survey results reporting.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• With limited supervision, update reporting tools to track all aspects of the performance.
• Solve complex analytical problems using quantitative approaches by using a unique blend of technical, business mathematical, analytical and data skills.
• Use statistical computer languages to manipulate data and draw insights from large datasets.
• Works with functional areas to develop standard performance metrics, and to evaluate these efficiency and performance metrics daily, to inform staffing at optimal headcount and necessary operational improvements.
• Experience in scripting skills specifically using SQL and demonstrated history of reading and understanding SQL.
• Research key business internal data and external industry insights using statistical analysis and data mining to understand historical patterns that can be utilized to create key business performance metrics and improve business performance. This includes leading market research projects and reporting on survey results.
• Build, maintain, and report on a competitive market knowledge database. Closely monitor and analyze competitor changes and assist in developing responsive and proactive strategies. Communicate regularly with marketing and operations to understand competitor and business issues.
• Evaluate new technologies and add-on applications to improve and optimize our performance reports.
• Assists business leadership in preparation of reports and presentations.
• Works on ad-hoc requests for analysis, research, reports, presentations dealing with business needs.
• Participate in cross functional meetings, and take initiative to follow up on open tasks and projects.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Inclination to take ownership of assigned projects and independently drive for results
• Passion for research with a strong interest in interpretation of data
• Strong analytical skills (including mastery of Microsoft Suite and/or Google Suite) and experience with reporting and data analysis
• Excellent written and oral English communication skills, good listener with a team player attitude
• Comfortable working in a fast paced environment
• Works in multiple projects simultaneously
• Meticulous attention to detail

WORK ENVIRONMENTS AND HAZARDS

This position requires sitting for extended amounts of time with a majority of the tasks requiring typing at a computer station.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

This position is mainly a stationary position involving sitting for long periods of time and may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. May require lifting up to 20 pounds.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 4+ years of experience in a Business Analyst role
• Working with developing SQL scripts for data extracts: 4 years (Preferred)
• Bachelor's degree in analytics, business, operations, or related field
• Technically capable, excellent communicator
• Experience with Business Intelligence tools such as, Quicksight, PowerBi, Tableau, or AWS required
