We are seeking a Senior Ergonomist (or a Physical Therapist or Occupational Therapist with ergonomics experience) to join our team to our client in Palo Alto, CA. As a senior ergonomist, you will oversee projects to provide comfortable solutions in the office and remote work environments.
We offer flexible schedules to support your work/life balance. This position is a hybrid work schedule of mostly remote work and occasional in-office visits. This position is part-time, 5 hours per day (Monday Friday).

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the organization in the application of ergonomic principles for existing and new processes, equipment design, and ergonomic program planning, training, and implementation
- Conduct job task analysis by performing independent virtual, telephonic, or in person ergonomic evaluations
- Identify accommodations or modified task requirements for injured or disabled workers
- Obtain measurements, video documentation and/or photographs, qualitative and quantitative data
- Knowledge of various ergonomic equipment / products
- Knowledge of RSI risks, methods of prevention healthy lifestyle
- Select alternative devices / products when ergonomically necessary
- Desk AKP height adjustments
- Chair Fittings measurements
- Monitor adjustments measurements
- Lighting adjustments measurements
- Identify functional and frequency requirements to perform job duties
- Design and present ergonomic presentations (using PowerPoint), writing articles, creating ergo guides
- Data analysis and implementing risk-based solutions
- Host onsite events (lead stretch sessions, provide equipment demos, chair fittings, and lead ergo QA sessions)
- Good analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Results driven, self-motivated, and able to operate with little oversight
- Ability to adapt in a fast-moving and changing culture
- Strong interpersonal skills with the proven ability to build and establish rapport with a diverse array of people
- Ability to grasp technical concepts and a systematic approach to work
- Must be skilled in Mac and PC, particularly in Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Maintain proficiency in ergonomic product knowledge
- Solid understanding of workplace ergonomics, safety, and employer wellness programs
- Proactive approach to analyzing and providing ergonomic solutions to meet company goals
- Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Physical/Occupational Therapy or related field
- Minimum of 5 years Office / Industrial ergonomic-related experience
- Current State licensure for the practice of Physical / Occupational Therapy preferred
- Ergonomic Certification, preferred
- Exercise physiologist experience preferred
