Title: Assistant General Counsel

Location: Full Remote or Hybrid Model in our New York City, Chicago, Columbia, SC, or Atlanta

Position: Full time

Qualifications:

• Capgemini’s Financial Services business unit has an immediate opening for an in-house attorney with 7+ years of legal experience.
• Candidates should have experience handling corporate, financial services and/or technology transactions in a leading law firm or in-house legal department.
• The attorney will be involved in advising on various commercial matters with our Financial Services clients in the insurance, banking and capital markets industries.
• This position requires the ability to draft, negotiate and manage deals independently.
• Candidates should have experience negotiating and drafting professional services agreements, global framework agreements, technology agreements, alliance agreements, and other client-facing contracts.
• Candidates should have expertise with legal issues involving intellectual property, privacy, cybersecurity and technology.
• Candidates should possess excellent legal and interpersonal skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks (prioritizing as necessary), have a strong work ethic and have excellent communication and organizational skills.
• The attorney would be expected to work directly with client teams and senior members of the Financial Services business unit to provide legal counseling.
