Senior Payroll Specialist

Overall Responsibilities:
- Process payroll on a weekly basis for employees
- Process and peer audit employee payroll data, payments, and hours.
- Calculate and process corrections.
- Ability to read and decipher payroll reporting from payroll systems.
- Prepare and process journal entries to record payroll monthly.
- Reconcile all GL accounts related to Payroll as assigned.
- Provide detail for auditors or management as requested to ensure compliance with company policies.
- Cross training and back-up responsibilities of other payroll resources as assigned
- Always follow the company policies and procedures.
- Communicate in an effective and professional manner.
Qualifications:
- 5-7+ years of full payroll cycle experience or something similar
- Great energy, engaging, and enjoys collaborating with team and other departments, with minimal supervision
- Experience working within payroll and high-volume accounts payable strongly preferred
- Familiar with ADP Workforce, Microsoft suite, and bookkeeping procedures
- Preferred but not required a certified Payroll Professional (CPP)
- Bachelor’s degree in an accounting, finance or business, or equivalent work experience
Salary, Location & Benefits:
- Salary: $23-$27 Hourly
- Will be working in the beautiful Hollywood, Florida Office
- 1 Year Contract
