Sud Stop is a brand new, state-of-the-art, automatic conveyor car wash that has recently opened in Bradenton, FL. We are seeking a full-time car wash shift lead to assist the general manager in the day-to-day operations.

What would my day look as a car wash shift leader at Sud Stop?

The Car Wash Shift Leader at the Sud Stop is a leader who works alongside the car wash attendants to ensure every customer has a positive, memorable wash experience. The car wash shift lead will be:

• Responsible for fostering a positive, respectful, and inclusive work environment daily.
• Responsible for the daily operation of Sud Stop. Daily operations are set according to company standards (SOP) and in compliance with all applicable laws.
• Ensures all guests are treated politely and respectfully.
• Address employee and customer concerns immediately and effectively.
• Provide direction and motivate car wash attendants.
• Effectively train and coach employees.
• Monitor vehicles coming through wash to eliminate safety hazards.
• Be part of a continuous effort to clean all areas of the car wash as well as surrounding property to ensure each customer has a clean, safe and positive visit.
• Facilitate the processing of customers’ vehicles quickly and safely by following the Sud Stop procedure for each vehicle.
• Assist customers using a POS system. Troubleshoot POS system.

Candidates for the Car Wash Shift Lead should:

• Have the ability to multitask and operate in a fast-paced quickly changing environment
• Be organized.

• Be confident, proactive and willing to take on challenges.
• Have mechanical aptitude; analytic and strategic thinking ability; excellent communication skills
• Have open availability to work weekends, holidays and a varying schedule
• Have a great attitude
• Be detail-oriented
• Ability to communicate effectively using the English vocabulary.
• Have a valid driver’s license.
• Have no less than one year of management experience. Car wash experience preferred but not necessary.
• Have no less than three years of customer service experience.
• Possess a high school diploma or GED
