We are currently looking for a hard-working, experienced warehouse Shipping and Warehouse Technician to work at our busy, fast-paced office in Marin County, CA. This position is full time, Monday -Friday 8:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m.

As Shipping Technician, you will be responsible for shipping and fulfillment practices for delicate research instrumentation.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Performs the pick, pack, ship functions
• Safely handling and care of instrumentation
• Pack shipments securely, following required specifications
• Conduct quality inspections on packaging and documentation
• Responsible for processing all parcel shipments with the designated carrier; FedEx/UPS/DHL
• Sort and perform put away and restock functions in an organized fashion
• Maintain shipping supplies and organize inventory
• General shipping/warehousing practices; safety and organization, etc

• Other responsibilities as designated by the team leader or Warehouse Supervisor

Skills & Qualifications:

· High School or G.E.D. appreciated

· 2-3 years' experience working in a warehouse environment preferred

· Basic computer skills a must

· Demonstrates attention to detail, accuracy and thoroughness

· Must be punctual and dependable; firm schedule of 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. M - F

· Must be able to lift heavy boxes up to 50 lbs. and able to stoop, bend, kneel and squat

· High energy and ability to work with a team

· Willingness and flexibility to take on different tasks and jobs

· Must be able to follow oral and written instructions.

· Read and write in English.

· Able to use computer to generate packing slips.

· Able to use UPS/FEDEX software to ship jobs.

· Experience with international shipping and documentation a plus!

· Keeping warehouse/shipping area organized and clean.

· Participates and adds to a creating a positive work place, easily takes direction and constructive criticism, gives feedback in a productive and encouraging manner.

· Completes tasks on time; takes responsibility for own actions; can be relied upon

· Regularly sits at a computer station and operates electronic equipment

· Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities

· Welcomes cross-training with other areas of the business
