As a Thorne 1st Shift Shipping Technician you will be joining a team of more than 450 passionate individuals committed to our cause of providing superior health solutions.

*Must be available to work weekend shift. This non-exempt entry-level role starts at $17.50 per hr.

A day in the life of a Shipping Technician at Thorne requires:

• Following the Shipping Department policies and procedures and Thorne Research policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
• Paying attention to detail. Completing paperwork accurately, neatly and fully
• Maintain order integrity while efficiently emptying carts and packing orders in a neat manner.
• Accurately and efficiently processing orders and demonstrating attention to detail (for example, verifying address and ship method before processing).
• Observing the daily flow of the department and determines which job duty has priority.
• Completing all job duties assigned to level 1 to become a certified level 1 shipping technician. Once the employee is certified as a level 1 technician the employee must be able to complete all job duties assigned to Level 2 to become a certified Level 2 shipping technician.

What You Need:

• Experience and/or Education: High school diploma is required. Prior warehouse experience preferred.
• Add, subtract, multiply, and divide in the units of measurement used in the Production Department, using whole numbers and decimals (for example, grams)
