Smoothie Barista Job at Planet Smoothie
We are seeking a responsible, detail oriented and friendly Barista to join our team. Candidates with experience (PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED) working in a fast-past environment and the ability to interact with guests while using our point of sale system.
Please note: At this time, we are looking for someone who has open availability and can work during the day (during high school hours).
Day Shift Example: 6:45 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and thank them for their business.
- Keep the inside of the store clean; wipe down counters, sweep and mop as needed.
- Operate a cash register to process customer transactions.
- Answer customer questions about food service, or other products or services offered.
- Be able to follow a recipe and any add-ins or substitutions the guest may want.
- Stock and Prep as needed.
- Check products' expiration date; First-in First-out.
Requirements:
- Reliable Transportation
- Ability to interact with the public and co-workers constantly and positively during shifts
- Team Player
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to operate a blender and POS cashier system
- Ability to regularly move boxes weighing up to 55 lbs., throughout the store
- Ability to constantly bend, reach and scoop

Monday - Friday 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Saturday 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Sunday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $10.00 - $11.00 per hour
