LaMesa/RecVan is currently hiring for aSocial Media Specialist for our growing team. The ideal candidate has a positive attitude and a passion for building on trend creative social content as an extension of our brand story. We’ll want to see what you’ve done for yourself and/or for other brands. Creativity is more important to us than just raw numbers!

SALARY: $40-50K annually, based on experience

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Organic/Paid social media strategy and execution
• Develop social media campaigns
• Update social media content across all channels
• Engage with customers and followers
• Monitor campaigns and analyzes data obtained
• Establish relationships with social media influencers to develop a strong network
• Keep up to date on social media trends
• Communicate effectively to all stakeholders including senior management and content developers

REQUIREMENTS:

• Pre-employment screenings including background and drug test
• Must be able to post two linked blog articles daily on our Facebook page
• Must be able to post upcoming events on our Facebook page – two weeks prior to the event date
• 2+ years’ experience as a social media manager or a similar role preferred but not required
• Experience in creating social media strategies
• Knowledge of best practices for social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, TikTok etc.
• Must have interest in outdoor lifestyle/ camping experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Craft engaging content
• Organized and able to multitasks
• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
• Some travel, as needed
