Do you like working in a small school environment? Buxmont Academy is seeking a special education teacher to work at our Tatamy Creek campus in Easton, PA.
All of our teachers are dedicated and caring! They provide necessary support to both students and their team. They promote a healthy community and encourage positive change.
Primary responsibilities include providing 1-on-1 and small group tutoring to students; creating and monitoring the Individual Education Plan (IEP); and conducting IEP meetings.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree.
* Special education teaching certification (or the ability to obtain certification).
* Belief in the idea that people can change and grow personally and professionally.
This is a 10 month school year position. Hours are Monday through Thursday, 7:45am-3:45pm, Fridays until 2:45pm. Salary is $40,000.
