Job description
Staffing Coordinator (SC) coordinate Paramount’s core business of matching staffing needs of our Healthcare facility partners with the calendars of our pool of nurses and caregivers. SCs manage and oversee the relationship between the facilities and the nurses/caregivers to ensure a seamless fulfilment of the staffing needs of our clients. SCs directly supervise Solutions Officers to ensure exceptional customer service and support to Paramount Healthcare Services healthcare providers and facilities.
SCs will need to constantly demonstrate skills and qualifications focused on communication and relationship-building. Our SCs require strong management skills.
Essential Functions:
- Manage relationships with our pool of nurses, completely understanding their needs and wants as it relates to finding them a shift that fits into their calendars.
- Develop relationships with assigned client facilities, completely understanding their needs and wants as it relates to staffing requests and future staffing growth.
- Maximize assigned facility accounts revenue through a strategic approach to matching up facilities staffing needs and Paramount’s healthcare providers.
- Timely utilization of project and scheduling tools especially the paramount staffing app.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Maintain up-to-the-minute accurate records of Paramount providers schedules.
- Manage the pool of Solutions Officers assigned the Client Service Manager
- Reports directly to the Team Lead or Operations Manager
- Maintain Paramount Master schedule of Caregivers and the shifts being worked on a live basis.
- Interface with other departments such as Finance, HR, and Management team to provide basic administrative support and resolve issues for both nurses/caregivers and facilities.
- Superintend the Paramount App for scheduling.
Basic Competencies:
- Above average mastery of Microsoft office 365 Suites (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint etc.)
- Ability to Lead and coordinate team meetings including using slides and other presentation tools to convey information.
- Ability to work unsupervised in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and projects to ensure all move forward concurrently
- Must be personable and own the ability to build relationships with all kinds of individuals while deploying the requisite poise, tact, diplomacy and professional presence and demeanor.
- Requires strong ability to apply common sense understanding, judgement, and leadership to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
Education / Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university – is required (High school diploma with appropriate work experience may be considered )
- 3 Years of customer service experience is a plus.
