Caterpillar’s Electrification & Advanced Power Solutions (E&APS) Division will focus on delivering advanced electrified power train, zero-emissions products/technologies, and the solutions and services associated with these technologies. Focus areas include batteries, fuel cells, motors, inverters, micro grid controllers, charging, energy storage systems, lifecycle solutions/services and integration of components for ePowertrain solutions across industries.

Job Summary: To identify, develop, and drive growth initiatives and strategic roadmaps for advanced power solutions through research, strategic thinking, prioritization, and communication.
Job Duties and Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
Support the development and implementation of growth strategies across the advanced power (battery, fuel cells, and alternative fuels) value chain.
Gather information and assess the market including competitor strategies and investments (both traditional and non-traditional competitors), market dynamics, market service needs, and Caterpillar’s position in the industry.
Monitor external factors affecting adoption of advanced power solutions including Political, Economic, Social, Technology, Legal and Environmental.
Analyze quantitative and qualitative information to develop insights and recommendations for growth opportunities and to support strategic decision making. This includes synthesizing data from varied sources, such as outside consultants and industry specialists, as well as internal team members across the enterprise.
Create analyses and presentation materials to clearly share strategic messaging and roadmaps with stakeholders across the enterprise.
Drive consulting engagements and cross-functional teams to achieve key deliverables through strong communication and milestone management.
Basic Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree
7 – 10 years of experience with increasing responsibility.
Strong background in analytics, strategic thinking, and project management.
Strong interpersonal skills to develop collaborative relationships with both internal stakeholders and external partners.
Clear and concise communication skills to bring clarity to complex and broad scopes.
Experience analyzing business challenges and making recommendations.
Self-starter and results-oriented strategic thinker with excellent time management, organization, and prioritization skills to lead multiple initiatives/topics at a time.
Top Candidates May Have:
MBA or business-related master’s degree preferred.
Knowledge in electrification and value chain growth.
Internal or external consulting experience.
Additional Information:
This position will close on 5/31/2023 at 11:59PM.
Travel requirements may be less than 20%.
Domestic relocation assistance is not available.

This position is located in Dallas TX OR Mossville, IL but alternative work locations near a Caterpillar facility may be considered.
This position is a hybrid role (3 days on-site/2 days off-site), providing flexibility and freedom to work from a location away from the office, while also enabling the opportunity to collaborate in person as needed.
