OPPORTUNITY

For an engineer with an interest in designing structural systems for large industrial and commercial facilities. Join an integrated team of architects, engineers and project managers and engage in challenging projects up to $500 million for many of the biggest brands in the industry. This key role will develop a broad set of engineering competencies, technical design knowledge, consultation and problem-solving skills in an environment that values collaboration.

POSITION

Reports to the Director of Civil Engineering. Participates on design teams to prepare drawings for the structural portion of major projects in the areas of industrial, commercial, science + technology and workplace. Collaborates on structural engineering contributions to projects including on-site data gathering, design, specifications, client contact, contract documents, cost estimating, shop drawing review and construction coordination. This position will work proactively with multi-discipline teams.

QUALIFICATIONS

• BS in Civil Engineering or Architectural Engineering with an emphasis on Structures; EI a plus
• 3+ years of experience in structural design and analysis
• Proficiency in Revit
• Commitment to professional growth; intelligent contributor with desire to learn; strong interpersonal skills, work ethic and leadership capabilities
• An interest in specializing in commercial, retail or industrial design projects
• Proven self-starter with the ability to manage time and work priorities independently
