Providing strategy, planning, and research to help identify opportunities, prototype new offerings, and improve program performance. Enrolling students by building compelling marketing campaigns, improving recruitment, and opening new channels to reach qualified learners. Advising and supporting partners to rapidly expand non-degree offerings, including short courses, boot camps, and other forms of experiential, team-based learnings. Support and coaching learners to improve recruitment, retention, satisfaction, and graduation rates.

Important: Pearson is currently holding the Pearson Online Learning Services business under strategic review to assess the optimal long-term ownership structure.

Summary:

The primary function of the Student Records Coordinator is to manage all student records from the point of application through admission. The Student Records Coordinator also provides administrative support to additional internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

Specific duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Prepare student application files for admission committee review.
  • Complete cumulative GPA calculations for transfer applicants.
  • Process and log student records including digital documents and transcripts.
  • Enter transfer credit data into CRM.
  • Responsible for accurate internal and external transmission of information.
  • Complete data inquiries, data reports, and analysis as needed.
  • Adhere to and exceed service level agreements for processing student records and files.
  • Complete quality assurance tasks to ensure accurate data and information integrity in the CRM.
  • Assist with maintaining and updating standard operating procedures (SOP) documents as needed.
  • Ability to work with discretion and complete confidentiality as this position involves constant contact with sensitive personal records.
  • Actively engage in and contribute to a culture of continuous process improvement.
  • Contribute daily to a collaborative, positive and supportive work environment.
  • Requires the ability to work a flexible schedule to meet departmental needs. This may include working more than 40 hours a week.

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree from an accredited college or university is required; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • At least two years of experience in an administrative support function.
  • Experience in a student records, registrar, or student services office or related experience within higher education is an asset.
  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for accuracy.
  • Exceptional analytical acumen, organization, time management, and research skills.
  • Ability to balance multiple tasks and prioritize accordingly.
  • Effective interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills and listening ability.
  • Highly proficient with office automation tools (MS Office) and navigating on the internet.
  • Experience working within customer relationship management (CRM) software and student information system (SIS).

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

As required by the Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Act, Pearson provides a reasonable range of minimum compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For the state of Colorado only, the range of starting pay for this role is $19.00-$21.00 USD per hour.
