Matheny is a special hospital for children and adults with medically complex developmental disabilities Matheny’s mission is to provide exceptional care and an optimal quality of life for children and adults with special needs and medically complex developmental disabilities. Our School is currently looking for a full time Supervisor of Curriculum and Instruction/lead Teacher .
Under the Direction of the Assitant Principal/Director of Curriculum Prepares or supervises the preparation of reports, records, lists and all other paperwork required or appropriate to the function of the classes inside the school.
Operates as the secondary coordinator for the school DLM assessment. Provides information related to educational assessment and evaluation of potential candidates for admission.
Is a full member of the school enrollment committee and reviews the Matheny School email daily for prospects. Monitors student programs for progress according to the individual student program plan. Identifies needs related to assigned classrooms and improvement and ensures that school staff addresses the need of the students in an age appropriate manner. Keeps the Principal informed of school activities and/or problems in a timely manner. Ensures implementation of school objectives, policies and procedures among the school staff.
