Position: Supply Technician, HAZMAT

Reports To: On-site Manager

Work Location: Fort Campbell, KY

Job Description:

Advantage SCI is seeking a Supply Technician, HAZMAT to be considered for full time employment. The Supply Technician performs a range of warehousing duties to include operation of Material Handling Equipment.

Duties:

• Performs storage functions to include the following picks and pulls MROs; performs inventories; performs location surveys; receives, issues, and stores supplies and equipment.
• Processes customer turn-ins, performs location maintenance, loads, and unloads commercial and military vehicles.
• Inspects, verifies, and counts supplies and equipment for accuracy, condition, and accountability, and performs limited computer functions as directed or required.
• Performs PMCS on Material Handling Equipment (MHE), i.e., forklifts, pallet jacks, handcarts, and other assigned equipment.
• Favorably interacts with internal / external customers.
• Must maintain AMMO 62 certification.
• Complies with all Company rules, policies, procedures.
• Participates in training and cross-training sessions as required or necessary.
• Performs housekeeping and other job-related duties as assigned. This job description is indicative of the work required for the position but is not all inclusive of the work required to perform the duties of the position.
• Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.

• Working knowledge Care of Supplies In-Storage (COSIS), Wood Packing Material (WPM), Pack 1-A, and Shelf-Life Management is desired.
• Knowledge of Enterprise Environmental, Safety, and Occupational Health Management Information System (EESOH-MIS).
• Global Combat Supply Support System-Army System (GCSS-Army).
• Post Goods Receipt Process.
• Post Goods Issue Process.
• Turn-in Process.
• Put Away Actions and Storage Support Functions.
• Must be able to complete the Common Core and Supply Support Activity business area of GCSS-Army Training and Certification system (GTRAC) within 30 days of hire date.
• Must be able to speak, read, and write English fluently.
• Other current or on the job trainings will include:

• Ammo 62 HAZMAT Course within 180 day of hire, and Spill Prevention and Action Plan Training
• 2-10K Forklift, Box Truck, Flat Bed Truck

• Must have a Valid State Driver’s License.
• Must complete and pass a National Agency Background Check.

Physical Requirements/Working Environment:

• Safety shoes required.
• Maintenance clothing will be worn.
• Lifting of 10-50 lbs. may be required.
• Work is done on a concrete floor.
• Safety mask maybe required.
• Sounds of various tools being used at one time maybe part of the work environment.
