The role will be hybrid (both onsite in Moon, PA and remote).

The primary responsibility of the Tax Analyst is to provide support in the preparation of Sales and Use Tax, Personal Property Tax, Real Estate Tax, Income Tax, Franchise Tax, and other miscellaneous tax filings to minimize the tax obligations of HarbisonWalker International. In addition, this position will assist with various tax planning initiatives and business process improvements.

Job duties include:

• Preparing HarbisonWalker International sales & use, personal property, and real estate tax returns and remitting payment
• Preparing account reconciliations, tax forecasts, annual reports and business license filings
• Preparing information for HarbisonWalker International federal and state income tax returns and various franchise tax returns and provisions
• Other ad hoc projects/duties as assigned
• Supporting the HarbisonWalker Business System (HBS) including 5S by identifying and implementing opportunities for continuous process improvement as metrics warrant

Required Experience:

• B.S. Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• Requires two (2) to four (4) years of general accounting/finance/tax experience.
• Requires computer operation skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Requires strong strategic thinking and business problem solving skills
• Requires strong interpersonal and communications skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Requires strong analytical skills and the ability to assemble and analyze data
• Requires excellent organization skills with accurate and precise attention to detail
• Requires self-motivation with the ability to adapt quickly
